OTEP Frontwoman to Perform On HBO's 'Def Poetry'

According to a posting on OTEP's official web site, OTEP frontwoman Otep Shamaya will perform on this season's "Def Poetry" on HBO. Click here to watch the "Def Poetry" season five trailer.

Best described as a performance poetry event, "Def Poetry" features poets who blend hip-hop — poetry's musical cousin — with the written and spoken word.

OTEP are currently in the middle of the "Mouth of Madness" headlining U.S. tour. A complete list of currently confirmed tour dates can be found at Otep.com.
